Recently it was discovered that Elon Musk has secretly had a 3rd child with the musician Grimes that they had kept hidden from the public eye, being revealed in a New Biography written by Walter Isaacson about the Billionaire simply titled “Elon Musk.”

On September 9th, the media tech page known as “Pop Base” made a post on X (formerly Twitter) declaring “Elon Musk and Grimes had a third child named Techno Mechanicus, a new biography of Elon Musk reveals.” Which led a lot of people to make fun of Elon Musk for his unique naming convention. 

Not much is known about Elon’s youngest son other than his name, which they have shortened to “Tua” for the sake of simplicity. He is the third of Elon Musk’s children with Grimes, followed by X Æ A-Xii (“X”) and Exa Dark Sideræl Musk (“Y”).

X (the website) followed this reveal with ridicule and mockery, one user said “man’s 3rd child is a genshin event I’m crying.” Another claimed, “He [Musk] shouldn’t be allowed to procreate.” Elon has not responded to any of the comments regarding his child’s name. This is not the first time he has had his children’s names mocked. Both X Æ A-Xii and Exa Dark Sideræl Musk were made fun of after their names were revealed because of their strange names.

Both names are shortened to single letters of the alphabet, the most popular of the two being “X.” The letter X is a recurring letter when it comes to Elon. Of course, everyone knows about Twitter’s name change, but he also wanted PayPal to change to X as well. Almost everything Elon involves himself with revolves around the letter X, space X, Twitter, and his children to name a few. Tau is no exception either, Tau being the Greek letter for X.

If there is anything to be noted from this is that Grimes and Elon seem to be keeping this child more hidden from the spotlight. Despite that X (the website) mocks his children’s strange naming conventions.
